You probably noticed that I picked Rogue Wave’s Out of the Shadow as the best album of 2004. After you buy the album and can’t wait any longer to hear more from this great band, go to iTunes and download this exclusive EP. The EP contains 5 reworked songs from Out of the Shadow as well as a cover of U2’s Seconds. It is hard for a band to release alternate versions of their own songs, but it is necessary for Rogue Wave. Since Out of the Shadow was a studio driven production, when the band formed after the album, their sound changed. That’s not a bad thing, but now that they are a band, they have to redefine themselves a bit. I would call this EP a segue from Out of the Shadow to their next album. I will be anxiously waiting…
