Star Wars Movie 1: Storm Trooper vs. R2D2
Rian and I like to make short stop motion movies with his Star Wars guys. We have half a dozen or so little films now and I thought I would put them on YouTube so I can share them with you. Here are a few of our first attempts at movie making:

If you have a young child (Rian is 4) and are looking for a creative activity to entertain him or her, check out iStopMotion. It is a Mac application that makes it really easy to make stop motion movies with a digital camcorder or still camera. Rian loves seeing his toys “on TV” and he caught on to the process pretty quickly. I move the guys and when he sees that my hands are out of the frame he knows to take a picture.
I will post some more of our most recent homemade Star Wars movies here in the future. By the way, have you seen the trailer for Clone Wars? It looks pretty cool if you ask me.
