Daily Chess Puzzle Widget

The Daily Chess Puzzle Widget is the easiest way to add daily chess puzzles to the sidebar of any Wordpress powered website. The only requirement is that the theme you use be “wigetized.” If you are new to widgets, these are found under the Appearance section of your Wordpress admin. Simply drag and drop the widgets into the corresponding sidebar(s). Most themes support widgets, but you might want to double-check before installing the Daily Chess Puzzle Widget.

To download the Daily Chess Puzzle Widget, visit wordpress.org/extend/plugins/daily-chess-puzzle-widget/ and follow the instructions.

Once you have the plugin activated and in your sidebar you can adjust the size of the chessboard from the dropdown in the widget panel. The sizes range from 148 pixels to 340 pixels.

The puzzles are pulled from shredderchess.com who provide daily updates to the puzzles. Each puzzle has three levels of difficulty to choose from.
