Experience
Nutrien (2019-2022)
UX Design Manager
- I helped our design team grow from 7 to 15 designers and researchers while establishing customer obsession as one of Nutrien’s core values.
- As UX Manager for Nutrien’s digital commerce division I helped shape the UX vision and product roadmap through collaboration with product managers and engineering leaders.
- I mentored designers, removed roadblocks, facilitated career advancement, and created an environment of trust and safety for my team.
- I built a design culture by championing critiques, retros, research, design systems, usability studies, new tools, and identifying ways to work more effectively with people outside of UX.
- I championed user-centered design and found ways to build empathy for our customers across Nutrien’s entire organization
- I traveled across the country meeting users and observing how products are being used in the field. I returned with inspiring stories that challenged our teams to build better and more useful products.
- I created drawings, workflows, and storyboards that showed how people interact with our products in order to help teams understand the big picture and how what we were building made user's lives easier.
- I measured the effectiveness of our products and prototypes through analytics, research, and data-driven decision making.
Runcoach (2018-2019)
Product Designer
- I worked to transform Runcoach into the leading app for runners training for a race.
- I lead the design of our small team as we tackle the challenge of building software that adapts to the busy schedules of our users.
- I built prototypes and tested my designs with runners to ensure that we built features that were intuitive and genuinely improved our user's training.
Athlinks (2016-2018)

- I was responsible for the UI and UX of Athlinks' website and native apps.

- I helped define processes and systems for Athlinks' relatively new UX team.
TrainingPeaks (2014-2016)
