Red Rocket: Selected Client Work

Role: Creative Director, Red Rocket Web Specialists (2009–2011)
Companion to: the Red Rocket brand case study

As Creative Director at Red Rocket Web Specialists, I designed and art-directed websites for dozens of Northern Colorado clients — working directly with each one to define project scope and creative direction, and overseeing the developers who built the work in WordPress. Here is a selection across very different industries, each with its own voice.

Keeton Industries

An aquaculture company that supplies fish farms and hatcheries. The identity centers on a clean, dynamic fish mark, and the site presents a technical, B2B product line with confidence — “hatching more than just good ideas.”

The Keeton Industries logo — a stylized leaping fish above the wordmark “KEETON INDUSTRIES.”

The Keeton Industries website — a deep-blue aquaculture site with product, case-study, and resource sections.

Encore Sight & Sound

A Fort Collins home-theater and home-automation company. The design balances warmth and authority — “Fort Collins home automation experts you can trust” — to make high-end installation feel approachable.

The Encore Sight & Sound website — a red-and-gray home-automation site with home-theater photography and clear service navigation.

Group Publishing — Gabbit

For the family publisher Group, a playful product site for Gabbit, a family conversation-starter gadget. Bright color, a friendly mascot, and a “Get your family talking!” message aimed squarely at parents and kids.

Rehistoric Homes — Bungalow House Plans

For Rehistoric Homes, the Bungalow House Plans site sold craftsman home plans with a beautiful vintage sensibility — national-park-poster-style illustrations giving each plan the romance of a destination.

Across the Board

These four only scratch the surface of a couple of years spent moving quickly across industries — aquaculture, home automation, family products, home plans, and many more. The constant was the job itself: sit down with a client, find the voice their business deserved, and art-direct a website that delivered it.
